Kevine Jiofack, Karelle Lonla, and Sandra Mezatio from western Cameroon are happy to share ‘Bamileke’ ethnic group girls and women traditional fashion and dance with you. They dress up with mostly multicolored dresses and hats called "Ndop"tissue, and other crafts to stay connected to their roots and ancestors. They play “Balafon” music during traditional events; funerals, community meetings, wedding, birth and end of life celebrations. Only women and girls perform the ''Koozang'' dance, like in this video, to celebrate their pride and beauty during a celebration event.

"Girls need to be empowered because they face multiple issues based on gender. For example: violence, poor support, social and professional limitations. Empowered girls can improve their communities , their families and their lives."
